Finding a job doesn\u2019t have to feel difficult or like a chore; some tips can ease your journey into a new job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Networking<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t have any contacts yet, then it is time to start networking. Networking is a great tool when you are looking for a job; you are far more likely to be hired for the position if you come recommended. Networking websites are great ways to get to know other people to develop a mutually beneficial arrangement. If you already have contacts, then now is the time to reach out to them and get back in contact; using contacts is an excellent way to increase your chances of finding a job as often they will be aware of job opening s before they are in the public domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li><strong>Social Media<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are looking for a job, it\u2019s essential to clean up your social media accounts. Many employers will go looking for prospective employee\u2019s social media accounts as these can provide an insight into a person\u2019s social life. If an employer finds a social media account plastered with photos of an employee getting drunk, posting controversial statuses, or moaning about past employers, they won\u2019t want to hire them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making your social media accounts reflect the type of person you want to be seen as you can then be seen as authentic and a great potential employee by the employers doing the searching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li><strong>Resume<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Work on your resume and make sure it isn\u2019t too vague; you must provide a different version of your resume to prospective employers with specific information relating to the company and the role you wish to undertake. Your resume is the first port of call for employers and the most important way to sell yourself for the role effectively. You want to create a resume that makes sure you stand out from the crowd and will be a great fit for the job role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"4\"><li><strong>Research<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Before an interview, you must research the company for which you are applying. By researching your interview, you can slip some of your knowledge into a naturally flowing conversation during the interview. The employer will be able to see that you have done your research. By researching the company, you show your skills of using your initiative off to the employer and increasing your employability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\"><li><strong>\u00a0Hope<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are searching for a job, the most important thing to remember is not to give up hope and throw in the towel.
