Many employers will go looking for prospective employee’s social media accounts as these can provide an insight into a person’s social life. If an employer finds a social media account plastered with photos of an employee getting drunk, posting controversial statuses, or moaning about past employers, they won’t want to hire them.
Making your social media accounts reflect the type of person you want to be seen as you can then be seen as authentic and a great potential employee by the employers doing the searching.
